As part of our ongoing commitment to improving patient experience and embracing digital healthcare, we implemented total triage using Accurx on Monday 29th September 2025.
This system is designed to make accessing our services easier, faster, and more integrated, whether you need help with a medical issue or an administrative request such as requesting a fit note, prescriptions, or results.
What is Accurx?
Accurx is an online platform that allows you to submit requests to us at your convenience. You can use it for:
- Medical requests: Share your symptoms or health concerns.
- Admin and routine care requests: Request routine care appointments, fit notes, referral information and prescriptions.
Why Use Accurx?
- Convenient and Secure: Submit your requests anywhere, from any device.
- More Discretion: Avoid discussing personal health issues with a receptionist by completing a quick private online form.
- Timely Responses: Our team will review your request, letting you know if you need to come in for an appointment or if your concern can be addressed remotely.
How Does It Work?
- Submit Your Request: Fill out the online form for medical or administrative needs.
- Request Reviewed: Your request will be assessed by a clinician.
- Response: We’ll contact you with the next steps, whether that’s scheduling an appointment or providing advice.
This process ensures appointments are prioritised based on clinical need, rather than a first-come, first-served basis, making the system fair and efficient for everyone.
Not Online? Don’t Worry!
Most of our patients will be able to get online and where this is the case, we will send you the online link so that you can complete the form yourself with as much information as possible. This is quicker and more private.
For patients with no internet connection or mobile/PC/laptop devices, you can still call us or walk in, and a trained member of the team will fill out the online form on your behalf.
All patients are treated equally, regardless of how you contact us.
