We are currently open.
Phone lines are open every morning from 08:00. Doors open to patients from 08:20 every morning.
Please note, we are open one evening per week (Monday) from 18:30-20:30 for booked appointments only. To book an appointment, please visit the Consulting Room.
Very occasionally the surgery will close for half a day for training purposes and the dates will be well publicised. During these closures the out-of-hours service will apply.
When We Are Closed
If an emergency arises and you need a doctor urgently but the surgery is closed, please phone 0121 373 1244. A recorded message will advise you how to contact a doctor.
The practice uses BADGER, an emergency out of hours service, at weekends and between 18:30-08:30 during the week. You will be offered either telephone advice, the opportunity to attend a Primary Care Centre, or receive a home visit.
Please note that when you phone the emergency out of hours service your telephone conversation may be recorded.
For the nearest minor injuries unit, please visit the Treatment Room.
You should use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it’s not a life-threatening situation.
Call 111 if:
- you need medical help fast but it’s not a 999 emergency
- you think you need to go to A&E or need another NHS urgent care service
- you don’t know who to call or you don’t have a GP to call
- you need health information or reassurance about what to do next
For less urgent health needs, contact your GP or local pharmacist in the usual way.
If a health professional has given you a specific phone number to call when you are concerned about your condition, continue to use that number.
For immediate, life-threatening emergencies, continue to call 999.
